Friday's tussle of two familiar foes brought a familiar outcome for Trinity and East Davidson, as the Bulldogs grounded the Eagles 23-6 to win for the ninth time in the last 10 meetings.

Trinity's simple game plan generated a most favorable best-case scenario against a bewildered Golden Eagle defensive front. Deviating from the running game became unnecessary with pristine execution and a stout defensive effort.
